Stains beware!

I absolutely loved this book! If you can imagine a stain, it will tell you how to remove it. The first time I used it was after having coffee spilled on my brand new off-white carpet. I used every remedy I was given before reading in this book that I could dampen the stain and sprinkle it with Borax. Later I just vacumed it out! Even though the stain was old *and* dried in, it worked on the first try. Since then (1997) I have removed *every* problematic stain I've encountered with the help of this fantastic manual. Even pine tar on my four year old's shorts was a cinch. If you clean or do laundry, you need this book.
