Emotions are an essential part of being a competitive athlete of constant concern to participant and to coaches is reaching and maintaining the proper emotional state that will allow them to perform at their capacity. To reach this goal, they must regulate three emotions that play key role in performance: stress, anxiety, and arousal. Anxiety is one of the most widely consider topics in sports psychology. It is considered one of the most psychological factors affecting physical performance. This work describes the process of developing and validating a multidimensional Sports Concern Questionnaire for sports population in particular region.
