Splinter in the Blood

This was my first book by this author and after the first chapter I felt certain I wasn't gonna like it. I felt as if they gave up the ending and the whole plot was ruined. However, I continued to read and very soon after that first chapter i was unable to put the book down! I was shocked at the ending, it definetly was not what i assumed in the beginning nor was it what i thought it would be after about two thirds of the book. I enjoyed this book, it was a light read, and definetly kept me guessing! I'm ordering the next book in this series for sure!!
