Overtly philosophical

I bought this thinking it would be a metaphysical/occult guide on working with the unseen (as said in the title). A good percentage of the book is philosophical and has an "existential thinking" tone. I didnt need a guide to tell me how we are all interrelatedly independent in this world. If you're actually looking for a spiritual/occult book regarding the unseen I highly recommend taking back the magic by Perdita Finn over this. Also the writer (Poppy Palin) obviously didn't hire a proofreader because this book is full of typos on almost every page. 400 pages of fluffy filler material IMO.
