This book is transcribed from lectures given by Torkom Saraydarian and edited by the author. It contains chapters on Temple Dancing, the Dark Triangle, and the Sphere of Fire. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is based on a seminar given a few years ago to a select group of students. In the book are included many helpful exercises to be used wisely by students of the Teaching. For those who were unable to attend, this book "puts you there" - as if you had attended. Torkom defines for us the meaning of "spiritual regeneration" by saying, "The word "spiritual" means ever-progressing toward future achievements. "Spiritual" means, practical, tangible, provable progress toward future accomplishments. When one is progressively striving for achievement, then he is spiritual." Another important definition Torkom gives is this: "In esotericism, however, "future means the presence of the Spark in our soul, the One Who is ever- lasting, the One Who is infinite". We become the future as we strive to become that flame which is formed in our head or heart. "Spiritual regeneration" then is a step by step, life after life, unfolding process leading to the blooming of our TRUE SELF; and a realization of the ONENESS OF ALL LIFE. It is a constant striving toward ever higher and higher levels of sacrificial service. It is learning to express on the physical plane Beauty, Goodness, Righteousness, Joy, Freedom, Responsibility, and sacrificial service. Torkom tells us these are the seven principles of discipleship. The steps to be taken toward true discipleship are given through- out this book, and particularly in the chapter DISCIPLESHIP, sections I through VI. Torkom stresses we must DISCIPLINE ourselves, face ourselves, observe ourselves, courageously ferret out bad habits, vices, urges, drives, wrong thinking, action and speech. In other words practicing HARMLESSNESS in thought, word and deed. Purification of the vehicles is a MUST, if we are to become true aspirants, disciples, servers. The chapter, "THE DARK TRIANGLE" refers to the ego, vanity and self-will. It is essential that these three be eliminated from the personality vehicles, especially, self-will to be replaced by God Will. Torkom says, "You act in the Will of God, but you do not have any separate will because it is His Will." And he quotes the word of Christ, "Not My will, but Thine be done." "The goal is to have your will totally evaporated, or in psychological language, to finish all your urges, drives, illusions, and glamours." What an order! How many lifetimes will it take? Torkom says it depends on us to strive on and on without stopping, to persevere, to dare, and to have the courage to go through pain and suffering, the trials and tests it takes. Best of all, Torkom does not "pull any punches." He does not tell his students "this will be easy ... or you will simply "sail through He is painfully honest, so that the true seeker after Truth is not deceived in any way; if he really "listens" either to Torkom's lectures or through his writings, he or she will know the way is hard, stony, and narrow. But with love and joy, persistent striving and sacrificia
