I wrote a third of this novel ten years ago while living in El Salvador, still viciously religious, one of those legalists who would do everything to the letter of the law. Back then, I never suspected that I would be a writer years later. At that time, the main idea of the novel was not to tell the story of a murderer but that of a convict sentenced to death in the electric chair. Before passing away, his soul would be transplanted to one of his victims. In other words, a simple horror story. That was nothing like the final product that is this novel. I prefer not to spoil anything; it's just the way I am. I prefer to surprise you. So, I hope you enjoy reading my first thriller, Spiritual Nightmare.
