A Creative Way to Involve Young People in Bible Study

Pam Barragar, Associate Professor of Theater Arts and head of the Children's Drama Progam at Cal State Los Angeles, wrote this book. Its purpose is to involve young people personally in biblical situations in a way which is spontaneous and fun. Using creative drama to teach the Psalms, Proverbs, and parables helps young people to experience the feelings of the characters, understand the dilemmas they faced, and grow spiritually from their reflection. These activities can be used in a variety of contexts--church school, youth conferences, summer camp, and Bible study groups.
