Spiritual G.R.O.W.T.H.: An Excerpt from A Prescription for Deliverance Through Discipleship

This book represents a chapter extracted from a major project of mine called, "A Prescription For Deliverance Through Discipleship". I am excited about the concept of deliverance through discipleship. The purpose of this information is to provide a method, whereby those who are tired of their flesh ruling their lives; to follow a daily plan of deliverance and spiritual growth. Those who are delivered from the works of their flesh have reached a level of spiritual maturity, others do not aspire to reach and some deny is possible. Far to many church goers embrace the notion of "I'm alright just as I am". That might be true if you are Jesus, but there isn't one human alive today who needs nothing more from God. In fact, I find that many are operating in the negative when you consider the standards set in Gods' word and the standards by which some live their lives. The book of Acts provides the foundation necessary to demonstrate how the churches of today should look. The Doctrine of the Apostles must be lived out in the lives of those who name Jesus as their personal savior. This doctrine needs to be taught throughout the body of Christ. When the chosen people of God rise up and proclaim the Apostles doctrine, with life style changes needed to demonstrate the holiness of God, those who walk in darkness will see the light and walk in it. Jesus said, when he is lifted from the earth, he will draw all men to him. Let's do our part to exalt the name of Jesus so that others might see the light of His love and follow Him out of darkness into eternal salvation. I respect the fact that you have decided to read this book. As you read, Holy Ghost will enlighten your mind, comfort your heart and prompt you to grow closer to Him. I pray that with every fiber of your being, you will yearn for a greater intimacy with the Father, everyday of your life; that you will press past all hindrances, to reach the status of a "true disciple" of Jesus Christ. I also pray that the concepts and insights presented here will be life changing for you and everyone connected to you.
