a good story, not an instruction manual

Ok first of all this is not an instruction manual that will teach you how to achieve samadahi or the kundalini. This is a very good story. This story is about a man who seeks to find oneness with the universe through the discipline of yoga. In the end he does achieve enlightment and sees God, he then goes out to help others and teach others his teachings before he dies. This book is full of wisdom. Through the story the author gives the reader a very good idea of how much dedication it really takes for someone who seeks to go all the way in yoga to achieve the highest state of oneness. This is not a story about some guy who comes to the west and publicizes himself, and uses yoga to make a lot of money. This is NOT a story of a highly MATERIALISTIC business man who claims to have dedicated his life to the spiritual teachings of yoga and to finding enlightment, but who truly wants to use what he knows to make as much money and bussiness as he can. This story reveals not the tehcniques. However this story tells you exactly how much devotion it REALLY takes, this guy had to have a dedicated teacher, he had to wander on foot from place to place, he had to climb a mountain to beg for food, and evnetually he had to spend so much time in his training that he had no time to go and beg for food so the people had to bring it to him. The character married, but soon had to leave behind even his own family to further his training and achieve the highest state of oneness. If you want a book that does not hold back on how much devotion and sacrifice it really takes to achieve the highest state of oneness, then this is the book for you. It is a fictional story, but none the less the book does not lie on how much devotion it really takes. Again you must remember that alhough there is much wisdom that can be learned from this book, it is not an instruction manual of any kind.

"SPIRIT OF HIMALAYA" THREE BOOKS IN ONE!

SPIRIT OF HIMALAYA quickened and lifted me in at least three ways. It's really intriguing as a piece of fiction--suspenseful, interesting and beautifully descriptive. Throughout the pages gems of spiritual wisdom abound. What an easy way to receive some of the highest wisdom on the planet! Besides being a book of great fiction which includes wisdom of many planes, reading this book goes beyond normal impressions; it becomes a really personal experience of extraordinary beauty. The lingering memories are now leading me to read it again and experience its beauty and its wisdom and its subtle refinement again. Anyone would be really fortunate to experience "SPIRIT OF HIMALAYA"!
