A charming captivating story!

Spinner's Mystic Travels is a charming story filled with danger, suspense and also beauty and wonder. Spinner is a self-centered little spider who learns to think of others and also learns about his own strengths. The tale is a wonderful moral story for children. It's also a suspenseful story that keeps you wondering at every page what will happen next. Spinner's self descriptions are very cute and reassuring. His friend Tump is a sweet, uplifting character. I have to find out if the author wrote a follow up book. I'd love to see where else Spinner and Tump go! Spinners Mystic Travels

This book really kept my daughter's attention throughout the whole story. My daughter happened to bring it home from the school library. It is truly an captivating children's book. The chapters are short so the children feel an accomplishment upon reading a few a night, the characters are adorable - you actually end up getting attached to them and finally, it has a good moral to the story, which children need to hear in today's changing times. I am anxiously awaiting a sequel!

A very nice book with absolutely darling illustrations! Mrs. Perry made very interesting reading here and keeps you on your seat wondering if this pair of travelers will ever make it back home again.. Hard to put down as you want to go to the next chapter and see how they fare on their journey. Brings out your emotions and you will find yourself actually falling in love with these cute characters. I think the age appropriate claim is right on. If the young reader likes suspense it is a book for them!

Naturally I'm a biased reviewer. The Author is my Daughter, but she has created a story line that will interest many younger readers. Spinner encounters many obstacles in his travels through the Black Forest, but comes through increasing his moral outlook on life, helping his fellow creatures. Good reading. Sequels in the works already.
