Spies and Spells

By Tonya Kappes

She's a witch without a calling. He's a spy who doesn't believe in magic. Together, they're about to uncover one dangerously glamorous secret.

Maggie Park has spent twenty-eight years waiting for her Witchy Hour, the moment that reveals a witch's true purpose. Until then, she's stuck serving coffee at her family's retro Louisville diner, hiding her powers from nosy neighbors, and arguing with Vinnie, her enchanted red convertible and overly protective familiar.

Then one harmless spell goes spectacularly wrong.

Maggie accidentally transforms the wrong man into a cat, steals a mysterious package, and lands directly in the path of handsome government agent Mick Jasper. Mick works for SKUL, a secret international agency investigating a dangerous smuggling operation hidden inside the glamorous world of Mystic Couture cosmetics.

When Mick discovers there is something unusual about Maggie's family, he gives her a choice: help him infiltrate Mystic Couture or risk exposing everything she has spent her life protecting.

Now Maggie must pose as an ordinary beauty consultant while tracking a killer, dodging international criminals, and hiding her magic from a spy who notices far too much. The closer she gets to the truth, the clearer it becomes that her Witchy Hour may have finally arrived.

Unfortunately, it may also get her killed.

Spies and Spells is the first book in a funny paranormal cozy mystery series filled with witchy family chaos, a talking magical car, small-town Southern charm, romantic tension, and a mystery with plenty of twists.
