Not her best work

I've enjoyed Day's historical romances; the characters and dialog are well written and likable. The love scenes are somewhat steamy, but fit the stories. I decided to give her "modern" romances a shot and ordered this one. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, couldn't even get through it. I promptly re-read "Mischief and the Marquess" to remind me what a talented author she can be.
