Special Education Teachers and Their Writing

Special education teachers write Depending on the needs (individualized plans, progress reports, etc.), they influence the trajectories of the individuals they support. Their writing is linked to a professional identity that is otherwise difficult to define. The research presented here, conducted as part of a Master's 2 program, examines a research topic closely tied to complex practical realities. It provides essential theoretical references and useful insights into the origins of special education, aspects of the 2007 training reform, a annotated typology of professional writings, and expert opinions and analyses on the writing practices of social workers. All of these elements contribute to a deeper understanding of the functions and meanings of this unique form of professional writing. Ultimately, this work proposes a framework for analyzing communication notebooks-a multifunctional and multidimensional form of writing used in socio-educational boarding schools and social welfare children's homes.
