Better pictures/information required

I bought this book as a textbook for my university course. Apparently the 6th and 8th edition both have red covers. This edition was the 6th, and also being as the book was updated, as were the case studies in the book. This book is now completely useless to me and I have to go and buy the 7th or 8th edition with the up to date case studies and information. So thank you for wasting my money and my time since it took 2 weeks for shipping.
