Excellent reference for all things development and administr

This books covers all 3 domino clients, the Notes Client, Development and Administrator whilst also covering domino's development capabilities through Formula language, Lotusscript, Java and wed design.Any book that I have ever read that covers such a wide area of topics lack in their in-depth explanations. However as a seasoned domino developer I have used this book on numerous occassions to provide clarity in understanding the new R6 script classes and even implementing applets/servlets.For any new Notes developer this book gives you a great grounding in lotuscript (implementing your own classes, DLL's as well as the core langauge), in Java (implementing Servlets/Agents) and web design. It is one-stop Notes shop and a great addition to your collection, especially from the Development persepctive.

Great All Around Notes/Domino Book!

As an experienced Notes and Domino developer, I enjoyed reading this book. It helped me familiarize myself with the new R6 features and had enough detail to give me some excellent development tips and ideas. It's strength is that it is a broad reference covering all three clients and the web, including installation, development and administration. It will certainly be an excellent guide for the notes user up to the moderately experienced developer. A book any serious Notes user or developer would want on their shelf!

The Book of Choice for ND6

I think that 'Using Lotus Notes and Domino 6' is a great reference book and training guide for all of you who are looking to migrate to Lotus Notes 6 anytime in the near future. The book includes great illustrations and screen shots of the new version along with descriptive narratives and overviews. The best part about this book, is that the book is written for a wide audience. Whether you are a new support tech, or a seasoned administrator, this book is a very helpful guide for ND6. As my company is just now making plans to migrate from 5.0.11 to ND6, I am thankful we have this book as a reference.

Great book, easy to understand.

Very nice book, easy to understand and follow. Covers all important topics related to the Notes and Domino world. Very nice tables and screen shots, makes it easy to understand and apply. Jeff does a nice job of covering each topic throughly. I would highly recommend this book, Gunther and Tamura put together a great book.
