The two best friends from The First Day of School return to compete against each other in the thrilling school rodeo. Full color. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is a light-hearted story about two best friends who, for the day, pretend they are cowboys (or cowgirls) at their school rodeo. By the end of this book, it teaches how to have fun while "competing" in such events as the boot search, teddy bear tie up, and naming the uses for a bandana (not banana). My son loves this story as it tells about feelings ranging from happy to anger. It also shows that just because someone wins, it is alright not to. I recommend this book for all children who dream of being a cowboy or cowgirl.
