Vulnerability in a Glass House

I didn’t expect such an honest story. I understood about living without a living, affectionate parent- overbearing elders and wartime casualties. You get the good and the bad. In a Glass House, everything is seen and what isn’t, is falsified to shine the brightest light on who ever the spin doctor wants. He wasn’t meant to be anything but a “ace in the hole”, a “place card” til the heir produced a child that replaced him. He was the scapegoat, an easy target for the Monarchy to use. I found it believable and couldn’t put it down.

Insight yes, gripping, no. . .

This book was a struggle for me to get through. . . actually I'm 3/4 of the way and still struggling to finish it. I'm committing an hour a day just to get it done. If you love the Royal family it will give you insight to Harry's life, every thought in his head. . . I'm not sure what I was expecting but it isn't gripping me.

Shocked

My Mother loved the royal family. She knew about them from why back several hundred years. She told me so much I should have written it all down. She has passed away so I now tend to be drawn not only to the Royals in England but all over the world.. There are many. I bought this book at for 75% off. I read in 3 days. Shocked is my only word to think of for this book. Harry was born Royal with the world at his finger tips. He is very educated. It is well written. But to drag his family name and heritage through the mud was wrong. He feels slighted by William because as he states "He will be King some day" His time in the military is very interesting, on point most of it. But he feels sorry for himself. When Meghan comes in to the picture it is very sad, She tried to change Royal Rules. If you are a fan of the Royals you may find it interesting. I wish I had enjoyed it more. Enjoy the book, The Queen, of course was my favorite character in the book.
