Specifically, Spanish Army Aviation outlines the circumstances in which the Spanish Army's airmobile forces were created, along with the commanders and other personnel who staffed the new branch. The book also extensively reconstructs the intervention of FAMET in combat operations in the Spanish Sahara. It includes for the first time the details of all the FAMET operations in that territory up until its abandonment by Spain in December 1975.
