By recognizing the artistic development from merely adapting traditional Christian iconography to creating new indigenous narratives, Su-Chi Lin examines the issue of visual representation raised in such inculturation processes, and considers whether these artworks offer models to re-imagine the contextual illustration of global Christian faith.
