Excellent Choice

Though this book is part of a series on military equipment, and thus places special emphasis on the Shuttle's military flights, it covers the vehicle's entire history up to the Columbia disaster. I found it to be interesting and well written. For anyone seeking a short, concise history of the program it is an excellent choice.
