After recovering from a head cold, 9-year-old Sofia and her chatty rabbit, Abby, decide to venture into outer space. They're going to Mars. Abby wants to know if the Red Planet is made of red dirt or hopefully, deliciously filled with red strawberries.

With the help of Sofia's sister and her toys, the pair lay out a make-believe mission to Mars with stops at the International Space Station and the Moon. As Chomp, the astronaut, Abby struggles to focus on her mission while Sofia, as flight director Hazel, tries to keep their rocket on course.

Relish Chomp's visit to the Space Station where she nibbles on space veggies and laugh when she does a giant tumble for rabbit-kind onto the Moon's surface. But danger lurks when the engineering team warns Chomp she may not have enough boost in her boosters to return safely to Earth. It takes a bit of ingenuity and bunny brains to bring the furry astronaut home.
