In the deep South, a high school pushover creates a Frankenstein monster to impress a girl, only she falls for the monster instead of him.

Vance creates a Frankenstein monster, a new Adam, to impress macabre-loving Lucy. At first, it seems to work-in her amazement at Adam's awakening, Lucy gives herself to Vance. But soon, she finds her heart really longs for Adam. A fight between creator and creation ensues, over Lucy and over freedom. After Vance shows himself to be the true monster of the story, Adam must fight his oppressor's Promethean worshiping society before Lucy becomes Vance's next experiment.
