South Hill Stories is a collection of stories of a year's life on a dairy farm during the 1930's and 40's in a family of 12 siblings. The Croatian and Slovakian roots and ethnic history of the family are examined through these remembrances. The father, Johann Bozanic, was born on 10 May 1888 in the city of Petrovo Selo (Croatia) and the mother, Marta Durkota, was born 11 October 1903 in Slovakia. In decreasing age order the boys were: Nick, Larry, George, Donald, John, and the girls Anne, Helen, Zita, Vera, Janet, Emily, Mary.
