Soul Within a Peach is truly an inspiration. In her memoir, Florence Sau Kin has to overcome many obstacles before she finds the path to peace. Her details about life in Honolulu and growing up as a daughter of Chinese immigrants make it all the more fascinating.I recommend this book because it reinforces that notion that despite adversity and tragedy, there is always hope. Although she grew up in the 1930s and 40s, I could relate to her in today's times.The book was easy to read and understand. Florence's sense of humor and optimism make it compelling, even through the tough times in her life.
