Soul Kisses Poetry

Dear Reader, the poem The Kiss was something I wrote when I was a teenager that I had tucked away and forgotten about, for I never published it or showed it to anyone because I had never experienced the type of kiss that I described in the poem that was until Jan 12th, 2024. After that kiss, I started writing new poetry. After writing a few new poems, I found this old poem I had forgotten about and added to this collection because, at last, I had experienced that kiss I had written about all those years ago, inspired by the connection that started on January 12th that reawakened my inspiration, and poetry started flowing from my soul. Those who have read my previous poetry book know that in the past, all my poetry was written from a dark place, but in this connection, I found my light, and I share with you the emotions that I have felt over this past year as I opened my heart on a second chance for love.
