My name is Clara Rivers, or at least that's what I'm telling people. I stole an evil power source called the Blue Star and ran away from The Complex, except I can't remember doing it. I woke up on the outskirts of Forest Hills with no memory, a giant blue lightning scar, and a dead man. Now I'm trying to piece together my past while hiding the telekinetic and telepathic powers I can't remember having.

I didn't expect to run into others with powers on my first day of senior year, but they might be the only people who can help me figure out why I stole the Blue Star and have recurring nightmares about my death. I hope we solve it soon. My headaches are getting worse, I'm losing control of my powers, and I desperately want to give in to the evil power source.

I've never met anyone else with powers except my best friend Glitch, who can teleport, while I control the shadows. I fully expected to hide that power when Clara showed up on the first day of school, but something about her feels different. It's like a connection that draws me in and makes me stronger.
