A Book That Keeps Teaching Even After Many Readings

For nearly two years now this book has been on my shelf. I've read it at least four times, and keep coming back to it. There are anecdotes and bits of wisdom that stick in my mind and I find myself taking the book down from its place on the shelf, still one more time, to reread what's been haunting me. There are a few books I've read that seem so easy to read first time around, and I think I've gotten everything it has to offer. But then some little piece will pop into my mind, like the way you remember a line from a song, and I find myself going back to read a few pages to clarify...and sometimes discovering that I didn't understand it as well as I thought I did the first time around. This book is like that, one of the books I can't seem ever to absolutely and finally finish...because no matter how many times I read it I discover there is more to learn here about the influences on my present life. And what's probably more astonishing is that I was the author's writing coach and thought I had gotten everything she had to offer. In it's own quiet way, this has been an important book to me...and continues to be.
