What Lurks in the Swamp?

This book is as sharp as an alligator's teeth,surprising as a surfacing critter and riotous as a reptilian orgy. Bloody funny...buy it!

witty, hilarious, educated

Finally a book that begins to bridge the gap between parents and children! Grownups will roar, children will laugh, have fun and learn. There are a couple of exceptions (for parents only) but the drawings are universally appealing and the verses, based on history, pop culture, and literature are, in a word..... sophisticated!

HOW TO RATE AN ALLIGATOR?

I like the drawings very much--they are fresh, clever, and amusing caricatures of more or less famous people seen as alligators. The poems are wonderful--original works of wit, which complement the drawings but go beyond them in subtlety and humor. Good book!
