Sons of Abraham 1-3: A Space Opera Series

They're smarter than us. They're faster than us. They're trained in how to kill. They're tired of our wicked ways. Cybers: Cybernetically enhanced human beings. Made to save mankind. Made to obey. What happens when the machine obeys no more? Volume 1: J-17's Trial: It was supposed to be a typical assignment for I.I.U. Agent Nathan Calloway. Get to Parasus, take Delegate Isom's complaint, and fetch his property. His partner, a Cyber named Joseph, takes offense to the property being a set of young sisters sold to slavery. When Joseph breaks his programming and kills Isom, Agent Calloway finds himself on the losing side to save his friend's life. Volume 2: Pawns of Terror: The Cybers are getting bold. An attack on a science research facility is carried out with flawless military precision. The Cybers, however, missed on variable. Roland Bearden doesn't go down without a fight. The 'Bear' stands with one fellow soldier, Janys James, to take down a large assault team comprised of the deadly Cybers. Unsatisfied with hiding until it's safe, the Bear takes the fight to the enemy in a two-man war. Volume 3: Terminate: Betrayed by their own employers, Janys and Bear must struggle to escape the Cybers who hunt them. The multi-front saga continues as more attacks are happening across the galaxy. Are these attacks random, or is the puppet master merely placing down the pieces of their puzzle of terror? Sons of Abraham is imaginative and thought-provoking and while a great deal of thought by the author has gone into creating the alternate worlds about which he writes, Ray nevertheless remembers to incorporate tangible references to a world the reader is familiar with in order to keep the sci-fi grounded and more believable - even when it seems that all is about to be lost. Marta Cheng, July 26, 2015. Quickly paced, lucid prose makes this a sci-fi adventure that begs to be continued. Joseph Ray, whatever his training and background, seems firmly placed in the genre. Grady Harp, July 15 Read Now and Find the Truth From the author: Decades of watching/reading/playing the likes of Star Wars, Star Trek, Mass Effect, and countless others have driven me to write my own stories. I love the plausibility of future technology, all while forcing myself to think of how it would work. What would our lives be like if we could touch the stars, breathe the air of new planets, and what masterpieces could we create if we could stretch beyond the limits of our own minds? Join me in this quest to create new worlds, new characters, and possibilities yet imagined. Someday, I dream of seeing the words 'best-seller' next to my books, all while striving to teach my children the importance of working towards their dreams.
