Murder, Mystery, and Betrayal
Thomas Howe had decided to create a new life, and moved from the Lower Mainland to Osoyoos, so he could put his past behind him. As an experienced consultant, he took on a role to participate in the development of the first cannabis retail store in the Southern Okanagan. What seemed to be an easy contract, and dealing with the historical issues of illegal cannabis distribution, put his life into jeopardy.
As a side activity Thomas was compelled to solve a mystery that he had discovered in the crawlspace of his home, during a record-breaking flood. The attempt to unravel the strange mixed set of clues continued to result in unexpected additional misdirection.
To compound this situation, an old business college that Thomas had setup for murder, a situation that resulted in the man's incarceration, drove that man to try to settle the score. An act that he would act upon once he had been released.
