About the author Shaista Hussain was born in Birmingham in 1982. She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Intercultural Studies. She has a P.G.C.E in Religious Education from the same University and is a qualified teacher of Religious Education who has taught for a few years. She has a Master's in Education obtained from the aforementioned university. She is also a qualified mentor and also qualified as a Life Coach. She has written poetry since a young age and one of her first poems 'What is the point of Racism?' was submitted to the International Society of Poetry.
