Snehaprava Das, translator and poet, has rendered a number of Odia classics in English, including the first and second novels in Odia Padmamali and Bibasini respectively, in English. She had also translated several contemporary Odia fictions, poems, and non-fictional pieces in English. She has two collections of poems, Dusk Diary and Alone to her credit. At present she is associated with the Department of English, Utkal University, Odisha, as a guest teacher.
