Joni Mitchell is known for her songs "Help Me," "Carey," "Big Yellow Taxi," and "Free Man in Paris." She could write like Bob Dylan but could play guitar and sing ten time better. Her band became The Eagles and she has won 11 Grammys, a Tony, a Golden Globe and was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Sadly, Parkison's Disease has stolen her ability to sing and perform, but she will always have the legacy of recorded songs.

Heart Ann and Nancy Wilson gained recognition with Dreamboat Annie's hits of "Crazy on You," "Magic Man," and "Dreamboat Annie." Heart has 17 of the top 40 hits and was called one of the greatest rock bands by VH1 in 2008, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and have sold over 35 million records. Heart even teared up Robert Plant at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012 with their rendtion of "Stariway to Heaven."

Lady Gaga stands on the shoulders of the female rockers listed above. She has sold 170 million records with 38 songs in the top 100 and fourteen Grammys adn sixteen Guiness World Records. She is not only a pop singer, actor, jazz performer, and activist but also Godmother to Elton John's children.
