Bachman left in 1970 to form another band and Cummings left in 1975. Both were critical of the Kale/Peterson version of the band calling it the "fake Guess Who" or "Kale's Clones." Thanks to two radio stations on the border of Canada, Detroit and Buffalo, B.T.O. became a brand of no holds bar rock that Americans love today.
