The Axis of the Worlds and the Human Station

This book attempts to restore the underpinning traditional truths of existence to our degenerate age. The modern world has to either demonize or ignore such teachings. Perhaps that explains why so excellent a volume is not better known in the world. Dedicated to Guenon, Burckhardt, and Schuon it is a very faithful and accessible reflection of their work, which is to say of the perennial wisdom tradition. Here are the truths that all the great religious traditions agree upon at their very roots. Buddhist, Kabbalist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Taoist, Celtic, Norse, Hermetic, and aboriginal shamanic traditions are all examined. Taken together, they are not some misguided attempt to form a "new age" universal religion, but rather, they point to the original truths at the center of all true revelations down through the ages to the dawn of time.
