The story "Finding the essence" consists of two parts, with different actors and locales (in the first part of this city, in the second - the village). Heroes live in normal conditions of the Soviet period, solve everyday problems, but puzzles galactic scale they are also on the shoulder. The characters have in common the unusual properties, allowing the story itself can be called fantastic. The second story, "Champagne", the author named in memory of a loved tango of the twentieth century. Wrote the story as a screenplay, and is composed entirely of dialogues. The action takes place in the 60s of the last century in the town of Snezhinsk, formerly Chelyabinsk-70. Here lived and worked in the real romance - scientists, engineers, workers, teachers, and all those whose talent and bright golden hands created the latest technology. But as without love, you ask? And you'd be right. Without love, nothing. And even the atomic bomb test is just an excuse to show what all the same, except the romance of physics, great people.
