I could surely identify with the author. This book shows how God is so gracious that no matter how far we've sunken He will lift us up as long as we surrender our selves to Him. I have adopted the idea he recommends of memorizing and claiming God's promises and it has given focus and depth to my prayers, and brought me to a closer relationship with Christ. The author's anecdotal style makes this an easy and captivating book to read.
