I'm not saying that it's "the best" but I've seen worse. The storytelling wasn't exceptional but it got the point across. A married friend thought the book was horrible (wonder why). The materialistic nature of the character made it so believable, I had to wonder if I was more like Leah than I wanted to admit. I also don't think that adultery is okay, but facing facts that it does happen and that people get caught up is a start. Can't wait for Grovesnor's next book.I also recommend The Ties That Bind by Monique Gilmore Scott
Honest and Refreshing

When I was first asked to read this book I read the synopses on the back and I thought this is going to be a rollercoaster ride. Once I began the book I watched Aliyah experience both maturity in her day to day living as well as maturity in her relationship with God. If I were put in the situation that she was in with her best friend getting involved with the guy she had hopes to marry I'm sure I wouldn't have responded the way she did. I respected how she began right there with her growth. I felt that the author showed how human the character was by having her become involved with a married man. As much as some women say it would never happen this showed how easily it can happen. This is a wonderful effort on the author's part especially for a first effort. This is the 3rd such book that I've read that has had the underlying theme of having a relationship with God and I'm finding that I'm liking it more and more. Keep up the good work and keep it coming....
STEP OUT ON FAITH

Linda, this is a refresing story. I would like to say thank you for writing a wonderful novel. This novel deals with real issues that we as women and men face each and every day. Alot of times we say, why me? We go through things to test our faith and to make us stronger . I just love the Lord and can say that I have made some bad decisions In my life as well but the Lord I serve is a forgiving God and with that In mind I can say I'm truly BLESSED. This novel shows how people say, she/he is a Christian why are they acting that way or doing that? We all make mistakes. Who are we to judge? I could go on and on but I just want to say to everyone out in readers land go out and buy this book yourself. Don't borrow it from anyone because you need your own copy to read over and over. Linda, your are awesome. Please continue to allow the light of the Lord to shine through you. Be Blessed. ***Another good read*** Temptations by Victoria Christopher Murray.

Thank you for writing this fabulous 1st novel. I didn't expected to read "my" story in the portrait of several characters. How did you know? No matter your level of growth in God, the fact still remains that issues of infidelity, domestic abuse, depression, etc., must be dealt with. Many can benefit from "Somtimes I Cry"'s healing, deliverance and restoration properties, that I recommended it to others (they loved it also; WOW). I would even recommend book clubs to choose this as a pic-of-the-month (are you reading this Oprah). You captured my attention from page 1 and kept it until the end. Sister, continue to let the Lord use you in this gift.~Signed~ Eagerly awaiting next effort

An amazing story of a young woman looking for love. It brought me back to certain situations in my life. "Many times I cry". Aaliyah is a determined woman, who has strength and courange. The frustraions and confusion that love can sometimes bring, brings her to her knees, and in the arms of her first true love "GOD".
