After the death of her son, the author reflects on how this tragic event affected various aspects of her life. These include her finances, employment, health, and relationships with her family and friends. Even though she experienced much suffering from these areas of her life, she was able to rebuild it through her faith in God. The title of this book indicates that God sometimes allows people to experience heartache and suffering in their lives, but it is their constant faith in God that allows them to get through these obstacles. The author of this book also writes about other people in her life who have experienced similar obstacles and how their faith in God helped them through difficult times.
