In this book, two former comedians and current psychotherapists take a humorous look at the wacky world of the TV show The Office. The book takes a look at the backgrounds and history of several of the characters, and provides psychological diagnoses for Creed, Michael, Dwight, Jan, and several others. This book is the first book in a series of books examining the comedy, psychology, pathos, and humor, in some of America's most popular cultural phenomena.
First, like others mentioned, there are mistakes in this book and it looks like the printer had some snafus during the printing time but I looked beyond that and I’m rating based on the content.
I love The Office so this gives me another look into the characters and I appreciated this book for that reason. It also helps to have as a guide if you’re a writer and need some help navigating your characters personalities and such. It’s a shame there wasn’t a part 2 or a final book with all characters because I’d love to have seen a write up on Ryan for sure. And, what about David Wallace when he totally flipped from big boss to working on Suck-It?! I could be here all day, but I digress.
