Some Thoughts for Millennials

During his "mulligan years" after experiencing a debilitating stroke in 2011, the author decided to use this "second chance" time he was granted by offering to millennials his insight into how to acquire the tools necessary to cultivate a set of strategies for living that is both relevant and flexible. An avid listener his entire 92+ years, Dr. Brown has accumulated stories from his parents and grandparents which are both fascinating and filled with useful information. Their stories began during the 1870's Reconstruction after the Civil War and continued through the Victorian era, World War I, the Age of Industrial Development, and into the 1920's Age of the Flapper. To those Dr. Brown adds his own experiences throughout the Great Depression, World War II, and his 40-year career as an animal scientist. Those experiences contain a common thread, a series of connections from lessons learned that can be applied to today's world. Throughout change, many constants do not change, and the lessons from these stories might help others as they grow and mature and decide how to live their lives.
