The principle of survival is that you should never leave the source of nutrient where you are rooted. When God created the fishes, he called upon the waters; a fish without water is dead. When he created the trees, he called upon the earth; a plant without soil is dead.
When God made man, He called upon Himself, he said, "....come, let us make man in our own image and likeness..." so also, man without God is dead and empty.
A generation without God will lack morals. That's why today our youths are given to fornication, covetousness, killing, stealing and the likes without consciences.
