enthralling, a good dessert book

This book can seem puerile at times, with all its onomatopoeic expression and seemingly limited vocabulary. If not for the occasional swear word one might expect this book to come from an elementary school library. However, once you start reading you will be invested to the end. After all, who can resist a good anime-style apotheosis? Not this reviewer, that's for certain. This book is an effortless read, a nice, easily digestible story for between the classics, a light dessert for after the heavy meal.
