Janet receives a pair of costly woman's shoes that once belonged to a high end prostitute. Once she places them on her feet, she has nightly dreams and flashbacks of the prostitutes life, work and son. The prostitute is murdered leaving behind her 4 year old son, Jaxon. The same Jaxon that later receives the the German boots.Her murder is never solved and goes into the cold case files. It is now up to Janet to push forward and investigate to see if her dreams have any meaning or truth. Janet's direction she takes will give everyone involved a dramatic and dark ride in finding out the truth. Who killed a high end prostitute? How will the killer benefit from her death? How is everyone connected from 1942 Warsaw Poland to the year 2017. How did the mysterious boots and shoes end up with Jaxon and Betty. Two people that live hundreds of miles apart and have never met until the drive to find answers unite them.
