In the 18th Century, love, although the same pure feeling, may have been seem differently by most. It was a time when being wealthy would allow you the privilege to choose from many. In this love story, we encounter four young sisters whose lives become affected the moment they meet two wealthy gentlemen. Their mother, advise them to marry into wealth, she wants a better future, not only for her daughters, but for herself. Their father, on the other hand, gives a more romantic advice. Marry not for wealth, but for love, he says, true love. Be happy the rest of your lives with the person that you truly love, or miserable with all the money in the world, but a person you can't stand, he says. So faced with this dilemma, the four young women must choose, while experiencing difficultly along the way.
