A group of curious travellers find themselves lost in a place they have never visited before.
Fortunately, an old dwarf, whose perception has been affected by the passing years, mistakes them for his class of magical history students. Realizing his mistake and being surprised to meet these people, he offers to guide them, rather than teach them history. The dwarf's guidance is necessary because, unlike the world in which you and I live, this place is dominated by magic: miraculous feats, fantastic creatures and spells of all kinds.
As well as introducing you to this new world, he will tell you the stories of a group of adventurers. These characters will end up being the protagonists of the storyteller's memoirs, who will take part in the narration of this and the next books. Dare to take the place of one of these curious travellers visiting Solace for the first time, for you literally are, and listen to the tales of the old dwarf.

Solace Initium is just the introduction to the next two books. Personally, I enjoy fantasy and tabletop role-playing games, which is why this series of books is heavily influenced by it. I recommend listening to the fantasy setting music of your choice, and I wish you a rewarding journey through the world I have created.
