When your body is sore and your spirits are low, don't you wish someone would say exactly what you want to hear to get you back on your feet? When you feel like no one around understands you, don't you hope for someone or something to change your mind? I have always found words to be the most soothing balm and the coziest respite in this world. Words have the power to breathe life into a soul that never believed it would see the light of another day. Words have the power to lift you from the throes of sorrow and launch you into the clouds of joy and bliss. Words have the power to make you feel like you belong and everything's going to be fine. This collection of poems is an attempt to breathe a little light into those dark alleys in our heart that need a little push to believe that the end of this tunnel is near and the future promises to be bright and hopeful if only we can keep our faith for a little while and continue walking.
