Edmund "Teddy" Hodgson was a missionary to the Belgium Congo, Africa, from 1920-1960. In his 40 years of service he became a doctor, a dentist, a boat maker, a church builder, a mighty hunter, a husband, a father, a friend, and ultimately, he became a Martyr of the Faith. He told stories of his great hunting expeditions and of the place that became his great love and his home - Congo. This book holds a few of the stories he told. I'm sure there are hundreds more, held in the memories and hearts of those who had the honour of sitting with him and hearing them first hand. These are his hunting stories. So expect to read about deal lions, elephants and crocodiles.
