Truths are rarely soft. Many are harsh, hard to process, harder to accept.
Nevertheless, my book 'Soft Truths' encapsulates Truths of life in a way that I hope will be soft on you.
Each Truth has spawned from a phase in my life or an incident I have experienced that I have had difficulty comprehending, processing, articulating, or making peace with.
An enormous amount of emotional work has gone into resolving each of these issues in my life, which has led to the birth and recognition of a Truth - a Truth that's universal, a Truth you have probably pondered upon, just as I have.
By writing about them, all I hope to do is reach someone who needs a little clarity. If every poem of mine can provide comfort and clarity to even a single person looking for it, the poem will have fulfilled its destiny.
