Used for a Intro Sociology class. We didn't go through every chapter of the book, but in my spare time I have finished the rest of it. There is a lot of information to soak up in here, it takes a considerable amount of time to take notes on all of it. It can be overwhelming in parts, but is well worth the effort. Excellent tables, charts and pictures are given to enhance your understanding. This book can greatly alter the way you view your world and thoroughly explains all of the major theories on which sociology is built. It also explains how each theory would explain a certain idea; which is a huge advantage.
